Grading and Assessment

Grading in Instrumental Music- This document includes the rubrics used for grading in instrumental music and an explanation of the program and student expectations.

Instrumental Music Agreement- This is an explanation of requirements and understandings between parent(s), student and the Band Director.  To be signed by both Parent and Student each year.

PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT RUBRICS- Used for the Performance Assessment(s) (ie: Smartmusic recordings) each quarter to track student improvement on wind instruments.

PERCUSSION ASSESSMENT RUBRICS- Used for the Performance Assessment(s) (ie: Smartmusic recordings) each quarter to track student improvement on percussion instruments.

PROGRESS REPORT- Used to indicate progress in instrumental music in the areas of Self Regulation, Participation and Improvement.
