Practice Is The Key to Improvement

Regular Practice is expected of Middle School Instrumental Music students and students should practice whenever possible.  Practice Plans help to focus and reflect on efforts and progress made. A good target is 90-120 minutes per week split over multiple days (20 minutes here, 20 minutes there, etc..). Practice Plans should reflect independent practice on current UNITS and concepts as well as compositions in the book and/or being played in band. The Weekly Practice Focus for each quarter (under each grade level tab on the website) should be referred to as a guide.
